1. Coaching Overview; Client Responsibility
Recovery Coaching is intended to be informational, educational and supportive for the client. The coaching relationship is strictly one of co-equality between the Coach and Client.  The Client’s responsibility is to come to each Coaching session prepared with a clear personal agenda.

The Recovery Coach’s responsibility is to use specialized skills and experience to listen, observe and help the client to identify personally meaningful recovery goals and to develop realistic plans and strategies for achieving those recovery goals.

At all times, the client remains fully and solely responsible for the information the client provides to the Coach, as well as for the interpretation and use of any information and feedback offered the client by the coach, and any and all decisions, actions or omissions resulting from or relating in any way to the Recovery Coaching experience and relationship.

Clients and website visitors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paul C. Meidus and his affiliates, representatives, successors and assigns from any claims, liability, costs or expenses in connection with Coaching related services, information or materials, whether from this site or blog or in any individualized Coaching session or Coaching relationship.

Paul C. Meidus cannot and does not guarantee or warrant any particular outcome, result, probability or degree of success regarding Recovery Coaching services, and further expressly disclaims any such guarantees or warranties, including any and all such guarantees or warrantees that may be stated or implied.

2. Not a Substitute for Medical, Legal or Other Advice
Recovery Coaching and this website and blog are not substitutes for medical, psychological, psychiatric, wellness, therapeutic or other diagnosis, care, counseling, advice, consulting or treatment, or a substitute for any medicine, medication or medical treatment regimen.

Recovery Coaching and this website and blog are not a substitute for legal, financial, tax, personnel, personal, religious, spiritual or other types of evaluation, counseling, advice or representation.  Clients and website visitors remain responsible for independently assessing their own decisions, behavior and conduct, whether actions or omissions, that may result or derive in any way from or in connection with this visiting this website and blog or any formal or informal Recovery Coaching relationship or experience with Paul C. Meidus.

3. Confidentiality
Consistent with the confidentiality statement found under the “How We Work” pull-down menu of this site, Paul promises to take reasonable steps to maintain the confidentiality of information exchanged in Coaching sessions. Nevertheless, and despite such efforts, third parties outside of Paul’s control may unlawfully intercept confidential information from our Coaching sessions.  Accordingly, neither Paul, nor any of his service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted over the internet, or via text or other messaging protocols.  Clients and site visitors expressly agree that such transmissions are done at their/your own risk.

Additionally, Paul may disclose information derived from Coaching sessions or site visitors when required by applicable law or a lawfully issued Court Order as may be necessary or advisable to: (a) protect Paul’s rights, safety or property or the rights, safety or property of others; (b) enforce any and all terms or conditions any Terms of Use, Coaching Contract or the provisions of this Disclaimer; (c) respond to your specific requests for services or other information; or (d) comply with legal process or cooperate with law enforcement or governmental requests.

4. General Nature of Site
The I.D.E.A.L. Recovery Coaching website and blog is provided and maintained as a informational and educational service to I.D.E.A.L. Coaching Clients and the general public. All information and contents of this site and blog are intended to be informational and educational only.

Due to the generality and breadth of the information and contents of this site and blog, such information and content may not apply to any person’s specific circumstances.  Clients and visitors are encouraged, and agree, to independently evaluate and verify information taken from the site and blog and should refrain from taking any specific action(s) based on information or content obtained from the this site and blog without appropriate consideration.

5. Certification
Paul C. Meidus is a Certified Life Coach under the program of certification offered by the Coach Training Alliance (CTA).  The Certified Coach Program is certified as 60 hours of Approved Coach Specific Training Hours by the International Coach Federation (ICF).  The full program spans 75 hours of total training which includes the business and marketing components of a successful practice.
